Obama responds to criticism of his statement about “bitterness”. BOOYAH.

To say that frustrated, angry, pushed-aside middle- and lower-class citizens vent their frustrations by focusing on gun laws, same-sex marriage bans, etc., is not elitist. It’s true. In fact, I wish he’d go further and explicitly say that the Republican party purposefully directs attention to those issues as a way to divert attention away from their pro-elitist policies because that is also true.

Shame on McCain and Clinton for trying to twist a statement that gets to the heart of the growing dissatisfaction among good, average Americans into a weapon.
