Worst Interview Ever?

It’s true: this interview is terribly uncomfortable. However, thinking more about it than just, “These guys are so stupid,” or something like that, I have to say that I really respect them. Music is it’s own language, as silly as that may sound, and, for me, the goal is to create entirely in that other language, without reference to normal thought processes or language. If that’s what these guys truly do, if they really don’t expect anything and just sit down to play music and their work is what comes out of it, then their answers aren’t bad or incomplete — they’re just true. I know it probably seems like suicide in our media-obsessed age, but, really, interviews about art are often stupid. If you want to know about the music, listen to the music.
