Perhaps funniest and most uncomfortable of all was the host of Woodsongs, Michael Jonathon. Yes, his hair looked like it was made of transplanted nose hair. Yes, his clothes were… indescribable. Yes, he made many silly comments about the kora and other things. Yes, his rendition of “Hobo’s Lullaby” was very, very bad. But more than anything, it was his constant demand that the children whom he had invited on stage touch things that was the most uncomfortable. “Touch it. Just go on over there and touch it.” No. And fuck you.
