Riverdale Garden - $5000 for One Year →
A restaurant in the Bronx is asking for $5000 “investments” from regular patrons to avoid going out of business. That money buys dinner for two once a week for a year. Or dinner for two once every other week for two years. Etc. This works out to around $50/meal/person.
I think this is an interesting idea, one I would be interested in if offered by a restaurant/eatery around here...

I disagree. If I didn’t make concerted efforts towards doing things that I know I should do but do not feel like doing, I would just end up sleeping until 2pm, sitting alone in my room, rotting away.

Drive to Talkeetna
Sunday, I got up early (on a weekend, no less — a miraculous event) and took a drive up to Talkeetna to try and see The Mountain (Denali). The weather had been perfectly clear the day before, so I thought my chances of actually seeing it were high. I was right.
